Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Texts Dev (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Mockup Maker, its website, and related services.

What stays on your device

Your imported screenshots, product photos, project copy, drafts, generated images, and local generation history are rendered and stored on your device. We do not upload them for rendering, advertising, or analytics, and we do not use them to train AI models. The only time screenshots leave your device is when you choose to use an AI feature, described below. Saving, sharing, device backups, and other actions you initiate are handled by your device and the services you choose.

AI features

AI Studio and AI captions are optional and require Google sign-in. When you use one, the app sends the following to Google’s Gemini API to generate a design and marketing text: downscaled JPEG copies (at most 512 pixels on the longest side) of the screenshots you selected, your project name and any existing titles, and your device language. The results are returned to your device and stored there with your project.

Before anything is sent, the app checks the selected images on your device with a built-in model and blocks sexually explicit content. That check runs entirely on your device. We record how many AI requests your account made each day, to enforce daily limits. Google processes the content you send under the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service, which describe how Google may use and retain it. Don’t use AI features with screenshots that contain information you don’t want to share with Google.

Information we process

• Account information: an anonymous Firebase user identifier for guest use, or your Google account identifier and email address when you choose Google sign-in.
• Quota information: your Firebase user identifier, daily generation and AI request counts, reset time, and idempotency records used to enforce limits and prevent duplicate charges.
• AI content: when you use an AI feature, the downscaled screenshots and project text described in “AI features”, sent to Google’s Gemini API. We do not store these on our servers.
• Usage and diagnostics: app interactions (such as screens viewed, features used, generation, export, and purchase-flow steps, and errors), crash reports, and performance measurements, linked to your Firebase user identifier and to an app-instance identifier, together with device model, operating-system version, app version, plan (free or Pro), and sign-in status. Collected with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring. These do not include your screenshots, project text, or email address.
• Purchase information: product, entitlement, subscription status, and transaction-related identifiers supplied by Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
• Support information: information you voluntarily include when contacting support or requesting deletion.

Why we process it

We use this information to authenticate users, preserve quota across sessions, provide AI features you request, provide and restore Pro access, prevent abuse, understand how the app is used, fix crashes and performance problems, respond to support requests, comply with law, and operate the service. We do not sell personal information or use your screenshots for advertising.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase for authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring; Google’s Gemini API for AI features; Google Play for Android distribution and billing; and RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Data may be processed in countries where those providers operate.

Retention and security

Local projects remain until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data are kept for the retention periods configured in Firebase. Account, quota, and entitlement records remain while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes. Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days unless retention is legally required. We use platform security controls and encryption in transit, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices

You can use guest mode, choose whether to sign in with Google, choose whether to use AI features, delete local drafts, manage sharing permissions, restore purchases, cancel a subscription through Google Play, and request account deletion. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, object to, or restrict processing of your data.

Children

Mockup Maker is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.

Website

This static website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or analytics. A future hosting provider may process basic request logs for security and delivery; update this policy before enabling analytics, forms, or additional tracking.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app or law changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when required.

By using Mockup Maker, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Mockup Maker helps you create marketing graphics from content you provide. You retain ownership of your content and generated output, including AI-generated text and designs, to the extent the law allows. You grant us only the limited rights needed to provide account, quota, AI, purchase, and support functions.

Your responsibilities

You must have permission to use uploaded images, trademarks, text, and other content. Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, bypass quotas, usage limits, or entitlements, disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected components, or distribute harmful content.

AI features

AI Studio and AI captions are part of Mockup Maker Pro and are subject to daily usage limits shown in the app (currently up to 25 AI requests a day). AI output is generated automatically. It can be inaccurate, generic, or similar to output created for others, and it may not suit your brand, a store’s review rules, or advertising policies. Review and edit everything before you publish it; you are responsible for the claims your graphics make. Do not submit content that is sexually explicit, illegal, or that you lack rights to use. The app blocks some content automatically, but that check is not a guarantee. Your use of AI features must also comply with Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. We may change, limit, or withdraw AI features, models, or limits.

Subscriptions and purchases

Pro plans are sold through Google Play. The price, billing period, taxes, trial terms, and renewal details shown by Google Play at checkout control your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. If you start a free trial, Google Play charges the subscription price when the trial ends unless you cancel before then; Google Play decides trial eligibility, and a trial is usually available only once per account. You can manage or cancel them in the Google Play Subscription Center. Deleting your Mockup Maker account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription. Refunds are governed by Google Play policy and applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every generated layout will suit every store review or advertising campaign. Platform specifications and policies can change, so you remain responsible for reviewing output before publication.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties where allowed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may limit or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or risks to users or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Governing terms

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the service operator, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes should first be raised through the support contact below.

Delete your Mockup Maker account

To request deletion, email textsmessaging@gmail.com from the Google email used with Mockup Maker. Use the subject “Mockup Maker account deletion”. If you used guest mode, include the app-generated user ID shown in Settings once that display is available.

After verification, we will delete the Firebase account and associated quota and entitlement mirror records, normally within 30 days. Purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat may be retained when required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or transaction history. Delete local projects separately in the app or clear the app’s storage; uninstalling also removes local app data.

For privacy requests, account deletion, billing support, or technical help, email textsmessaging@gmail.com. Include the app version and device model, but never send passwords, payment-card details, or private screenshots unless specifically necessary.
