NutriVision (AI Calorie & Nutrition Tracker) — Play Console Data Safety Compliance

At NutriVision, you maintain complete ownership and control over your personal information, meal logs, and images. Under Google Play policies and global privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.

Irreversible Action: Deleting your account is permanent. Once deleted, your nutrition progress, daily streaks, biometric history, and logged photos cannot be recovered or restored.

1. Method 1: Delete in the App (Instant)

The fastest way to permanently erase your data is directly inside the NutriVision mobile app:

Open the NutriVision app on your Android device.
Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll down to the Account Actions section.
Tap the red button labeled "Delete Account & Wipe Data".
Read the confirmation warning and tap "Delete Permanently".

Upon confirmation, the app requests deletion of your Firestore records, uploaded meal photos, and Firebase Authentication account. If any deletion step fails, the app reports the failure so you can retry or contact support.

2. Method 2: Web Deletion Request (If App is Uninstalled)

If you have uninstalled the NutriVision app or can no longer access your Android device, you can submit a deletion request through our web team:

Please include the email address associated with your Google Sign-In or Email account so we can identify and wipe your records.

3. What Data is Deleted

Habit & Hydration Data	Cloud Firestore (`users/{uid}/habits/state`)	Water intake logs, streak records, and weight check-ins completely deleted.
Uploaded Meal Photos	Firebase Storage / Cloud Storage (`nutriapi/{uid}/meals/*`)	Every photo taken with camera or uploaded for nutrition estimation is purged.

4. Data Retention & Processing Timelines

In-App Deletion: Processed immediately. Cloud Firestore documents, Storage photos, and Firebase Authentication sessions are deleted in real time.
Web/Email Requests: Verified and executed within 7 business days (and never exceeding 30 calendar days). You will receive an email confirmation once the wipe is complete.
Subscribed Users: Deleting your app account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Please manage or cancel active subscriptions in the Google Play Subscriptions Center.
